CONCEPT

The culmination of 40 seasons has led to this. The biggest cast in the history of The Challenge assembled to push, climb, and fight their way to the top of franchise glory. I designed this key art, with photography by James Dimmock. We shot our cast in small groups on location in Vietnam, allowing us to assemble this epic mountain battle royale. 

The premiere of Challenge 40 debuted with its highest rating in 3 years. This campaign was widely loved by fans and it garnered excitement, as it was the first time we featured the entire cast in our key art.

 PREMIERE EVENT

To celebrate Season 40 of The Challenge, fans were invited to an epic two-day live event at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the future home of the 2028 Summer Olympics. Contestants and fans went head-to-head in an action-packed live challenge, bringing the intensity of the show to life in real time. Our team transformed the iconic venue inside and out, wrapping the entire arena in bold, larger-than-life branding that set the stage for an unforgettable fan experience. Our campaign art for The Challenge: Season 40 dominated major cities like Los Angeles and New York, celebrating the premiere with bold, larger-than-life out-of-home placements. The takeover brought the show’s competitive spirit to the streets with striking visuals that couldn’t be missed.

CAST REVEAL

 

The epic 40-person cast was revealed across all social platforms through a dynamic mix of introduction videos, reels, and static graphics. Simultaneously, the first episode premiered on YouTube alongside the linear debut on MTV, making The Challenge 40 the most social season to date.
