Company
At Bobbie’s 35th birthday party, all her friends are wondering - why isn’t she married? Why can’t she find the right man? This classic musical is given a game-changing makeover for a modern-day Manhattan, featuring some of Sondheim’s best loved songs.
CONCEPT
For this ad campaign, I wanted it to appear as if we had taken the facade off a New York apartment building to take an inside look into the lives of the "good and crazy people" that inhabit the world of COMPANY. At the center of the campaign is the character Bobbie, viewing her world through an Alice In Wonderland, doll-house lens.
Stephen Sondheim has described COMPANY as a series of one-act places. The production is presented as a series of vignettes that highlight what it means to be in a relationship: the good, the bad, and everything in between.
Also… I once spent an afternoon with Patti LuPone, here is the proof.
