Latin

History

For

Morons

In this one-man Broadway show, John Leguizamo finds humor and heartbreak as he traces 3,000 years of Latin history in an effort to help his bullied son.

CONCEPT

I created the keyart for this one-of-a-kind history lesson, which utilized humor to teach valuable lessons about Latin culture. For the ad campaign, I wanted to create a series of oil painting portraits of John Leguizamo as iconic Latin figures. The campaign strived to create a platform to discuss history through John’s unique voice.
