Girl

The musical comedy classic is back for the first time ever. This bittersweet comedy is the story of the indomitable Fanny Brice, a girl from the Lower East Side who dreamed of a life on the stage. Everyone told her she’d never be a star, but then something funny happened—she became one of the most beloved performers in history, shining brighter than the brightest lights of Broadway.

CONCEPT

Hello, gorgeous. For this much anticipated revival, we wanted to evoke the classic style of Broadway posters of the Golden Era.

The illustration is an homage to the original Broadway artwork and movie poster illustration by Bob Peak. Fanny Brice was a performer in the Ziegfeld Follies. The bow is synonymous with her character Baby Snooks. The musical is a memory play and the wistful look on her face is a subtle nod to looking back at one’s past.
